Abstract |
Tom Hardy (Bruce WIllis), a maverick cop, pursues a serial killer dubbed the Polish Hill Strangler. When Hardy suggests the murderer is a fellow police officer, he's demoted to the river rescue squad but fights back by starting his own unauthorized investigation.

Author Biography |
Marty Kaplan (1950— ) served as a writer-producer for Disney Studios; chief speech writer for Vice President Walter Mondale during the Carter Administration; and dean of the Annenberg School of Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern California. Rowdy Herrington (1951— ) is native of Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood and Penn Hills, Allegheny County. A graduate of Penn State, he directed or wrote a half dozen feature films. He lives in Montana.
