Boris Starling (1969- ) is a British novelist and screenwriter who spent 10 days in February 2008 researching Pittsburgh for his new American detective series. “Why Pittsburgh?” asked the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. “Starling, whose previous novels have been set in London and Moscow, wanted an atypical American city, 'one that hadn't been done a million times, one that's off the beaten track.'” Starling lives in Dorset, England.
