Author Biography |
George Henry Higgins (1852-1905), born in Spartansburg, Crawford County, was a well known attorney in the Erie area. Higgins served as district attorney of Warren County, and unsuccessfully ran for judge and the U.S. House of Representatives. Margaret Higgins Haffey (1856-1917), born in Crawford County and educated at Corry Academy, lived much of her life in Bradford, McKean County.
