Sara Shepard (1977— ) is author of the New York Times bestselling YA novel series Pretty Little Liars, also a celebrated show on ABC Family Network. She was born in Kittanning, Armstrong County. She attended kindergarten there until the family moved to State College, Centre County and then Philadelphia. She now lives in Upper St. Clair, Allegheny County.
