Author Biography

Rudolph Leonhart (1832-1901), born in the Kingdom of Hanover, German Confederation, was a teacher in New Ulm, Minnesota during the Dakota War of 1862, which was the subject of his posthumous biography, Memories of New Ulm (1916).
