Author Biography |
Inglis Fletcher (1879-1969) was born in Illinois and lived in mining communities throughout the United States. She was obsessed with Carolina history because of her maternal ancestors. In 1944, she purchased a North Carolina plantation, where she continued her research and writing. She is best known for The Carolina Series.
