John Joseph Adams, Hugh Howey, and Christine Yant New York/London: Broad Reach Publishing + Adamant Press, 2020), 3-16, she has been working for the corporation for six years, health problems solved, living on its campus, which she never leaves, and appears happy while under constant pressure to fulfill set tasks within specified time periods to gain or lose credits, which are needed for everything. She and a man she just met even conceive a child to gain credit. The man is not a hard worker and falls down in the system. The woman does well, but at the end of the story her now-grown daughter chooses to leave the corporation and strike out on her own. In the third part, “You Have Been Crowdfunded. We Can Take Care of Everything: Part II.” or Else the Light: The Dystopia Triptych 3. Ed.
