Author Note | Terry Gilliam (b. 1940) was born in the U.S. and moved the England in the late 1960s and became a U.K. citizen in 2009. Stoppard was born Tomáš Straüssler in Zlín Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic) and was brought to England in 1946. He was adopted by his mother’s second husband and took his surname. |
