Annotation | Ecological eutopia based on an intentional community called an Ecostery or “a place where ecological wisdom and harmony (ecosophy) is learned, practiced and taught” (xii) that reflects deep ecology, which is based on the ideas of Arne Naess (1912-2009). Ecosophy, coined by Naess, comes from the Greek “oikos” or household place and “sophia” or wisdom and “refers to the wisdom to dwell harmoniously” (23).
