The young, female protagonist, a beekeeper, discovers otherwise. Followed by Rogue. Sydney, NSW, Australia: Pan Macmillan, 2019, in which the protagonist escapes to the surface, is discovered by people on a small island, and struggles both to learn about the world she now lives in, be accepted in it, and get a message back to her friends.
