Annotation | Dystopia in three parts. In the first story, mass shootings are a constant, and children are taught using VISIONS, a virtual reality system that supposedly allows safe education. In the second story, there is enforced church membership and attendance, patriarchy, marriage between a man and a woman, with the woman expected to have children, and constant updates rating on every individual with penalties for falling too low. CUSN, developed from VISIONS, connects everyone, but becomes infected with a virus. In the third story, a small group of people try to bring down the system. |
