General Search:
The bibliography is full text searchable using the search box on the “Bibliography Search” page, searching across all fields in the citations. The search box accepts one or more words. It also accepts a blank search field if filters are applied. By default, all the items in the bibliography are displayed if no search is applied. You can refine your search by using the Sort by for Title, Relevance, and Year, and the Filters on the left side. Multiple filters can be set for each search.
Using Filters:
Next to the search box is the option to sort your results by title, year, and relevance. You can also use the filters on the left side.
Filter by Last Name Initial:
You can filter for specific titles by only using the first initial of the contributor's last name. This will pull up results for any authors with that last name initial.
Filter by keywords:
You can filter results using keywords.
Filter by Year of Publication:
You can now filter your search results based on centuries up to 1900 and then by decades from the 1900.
Filter by Related Contributors:
Titles that have multiple contributors can be narrowed down by searching for the first contributor and then using the related contributors filter to find specific titles that list the contributors selected.
Viewing Items:
To view an item, click on its title to go to its page. Clicking on an author’s name will generate all of the items by that individual.
